BeAlert is currently accessible to all citizens and residents across the Caribbean region, offering direct connection to the BahamasEvac Team for prompt support and assistance. Its advanced geolocation technology accurately identifies your location, significantly reducing wait times and enabling emergency services to reach you swiftly.

BeAlert is not meant to replace 911. BeAlert enhances traditional emergency services by providing additional support, geolocation tagging for faster response, and a direct line to the BahamasEvac Team.

What are the subscription fees for Caribbean citizens and residents?

For Caribbean citizens and residents, a monthly subscription of $10.49 provides continuous access to the BahamasEvac Team for both emergency and non-emergency informational assistance. This includes regular updates and extends to families of up to four members, including two adults and two children.

When will BeAlert be available for Visitors to the Caribbean?

Visitor access to BeAlert is on the horizon! Scheduled for launch in early 2024, we’re excited to extend our services to tourists and temporary visitors.

Simply opening the app and pressing the button initiates an automatic phone call to us, allowing us to guide you through the necessary steps for your situation. In The Bahamas, BeAlert is also valuable in various security emergencies that may require the involvement of the Royal Bahamas Police Force or the Royal Bahamas Defense Force. We collaborate closely with both the RBPF and RBDF to guarantee swift and efficient responses. Our goal is to expand these capabilities to other regions of the Caribbean in the future.

Does the purchase of the app cover ground or air ambulance transport or medical care?

No, it DOES NOT. BeAlert provides access to our knowledgeable team who then guide you through the process of next steps in care and connects you with our extensive medical network. This includes connecting you to medical assistance and evacuation support. However, the costs for ground or air ambulance transport and medical care are not covered by the app subscription and require separate payment.
